NEB has been notified of a pipeline rupture near Prince George, B.C.

The NEB has been notified of a pipeline rupture, resulting in a sweet natural gas release and fire on the Westcoast Mainline owned by Enbridge. The pipeline was immediately shut down. NEB inspectors have been deployed to the area, near Prince George, B.C., to work alongside the company and other emergency response partners. Our first priority is the safety and protection of the public, workers, and the environment. No injuries have been reported. The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) is responsible for the investigation into this incident and NEB inspectors will work closely with the TSB on the investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.
