Indigenous Advisory Committee releases its Three-Year Work Plan, 2021–2024

Just over a year ago, the CER’s Indigenous Advisory Committee (IAC) began with a key focus: to advise the CER Board of Directors on how the CER can build a new relationship with Indigenous peoples. Today, the IAC three-year work plan that was co-endorsed with the CER Board of Directors has been released. The IAC’s work is aligned with the CER’s Strategic Plan and focused on five shared priorities:

• Relationships and Governance
• Implementing the UN Declaration
• Cultural Competency and Change Management
• Indigenous Peoples’ Involvement in Regulatory Oversight
• Crown Consultation and Accommodation
