Secretary of the Commission

I am pleased to announce that Jean-Denis Charlebois has accepted the position of Secretary of the Commission of the Canada Energy Regulator (the Regulator) for a one-year period.

Mr. Charlebois joined the Regulator in 2006 and has held positions of increasing levels of leadership. As a Director, he led various teams focused on public hearings, tolls and tariff matters and regulatory policy. Prior to his newly accepted position, Mr. Charlebois was a Professional Leader and Chief Economist of the CER. Mr. Charlebois holds a Masters of Economics from the University of Ottawa, a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from HEC Montréal and is a CFA Charterholder.

The CER welcomes Mr. Charlebois to his new position as Secretary of the Commission.
