Updated Operations and Maintenance Guidance for Companies

We recently updated our Operations and Maintenance Guidance for regulated companies. These guidelines let companies know when to notify us when conducting routine maintenance activities on their operating facilities.
Updates include:
- Companies identifying if they are working on federal lands, reserve lands, land claim settlement lands or Métis settlement lands;
- Clarified definitions for fish and fish habitats; and
- Administrative changes to reflect the CER Act (instead of the NEB Act).
We are always working to improve the clarity and content of our regulatory guidance to encourage compliance with our Act and regulations.
