Kingston Midstream Westspur Limited - Abandonment of Segments of the Westspur 23A & 23B Pipelines
Project Background
Kingston Midstream Westspur Limited (Kingston Midstream) has filed an application to abandon two pipeline segments. The pipeline segments are a combined 699.6 m in length and ranging between Nominal Pipe Size (NPS) 12 and NPS 16.
The segments were previously decommissioned in 2018 and are located southwest of Cromer, Manitoba. Kingston Midstream proposes to abandon the pipeline segments in-place. No new permenant land rights are required for the work associated with abandonment activities. All abandonment activities will take place within the existing Kingston Midstream right-of-way.
The proposed abandonment activities are anticipated to take place in September 2025 and are projected to be completed in approximately 10 days.
