NGTL GP Ltd., as general partner, on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership – Eastern Alberta System Mainline Loop Modifications

Project Background

NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL GP), as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership, has filed a project application for the Eastern Alberta System Mainline Loop Modifications Project (Project). The proposed Project involves the construction of two new pipeline crossovers between existing NGTL GP pipelines and the decommissioning of portions of existing NGTL GP pipelines. The Project would be located approximately 43 km northeast of Brooks, Alberta on grazing lands managed by the Board of Trustees of the Eastern Irrigation District in the County of Newell. The Project will not require the acquisition of permanent new land. Temporary workspace is anticipated to be on or adjacent to NGTL GP’s existing rights-of-way and/or leases.

Project construction is planned to begin in June 2025, with a targeted in-service date of July 2025. Decommissioning activities are planned between June and September 2025.
