NGTL GP Ltd. – Codner South Receipt Meter Station Project
Project Background
NGTL GP Ltd., as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership, has filed a project notification for the Codner South Receipt Meter Station Project (Project). The Project will tie into the customer’s NPS 12 above-ground pipeline and NGTL GP’s existing NPS 36 Western Alberta System Mainline.
The Project will be located on freehold land in Clearwater County, approximately 10 km southeast of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. The Project will require the acquisition of approximately: 1.89 ha of new land for a valve site, meter station and access road, 0.03 ha of new land for a pipeline right-of-way, and 0.04 ha of temporary workspace within the existing previously disturbed right-of-way.
The Project involves installation of: a skid-mounted meter run building and a separator; an NPS 10 ultrasonic meter run; an NPS 4 orifice return run; an instrument building; NPS 10 yard piping; and a new access road to connect to the existing county high-grade road.
The application is expected to be submitted on 1 October 2024. Project construction is planned to commence in May 2025, with an expected in-service date in August 2025.
