Project Information
NOVA Gas Transmission Ltd (NGTL) has applied, pursuant to section 58 of the National Energy Board Act (NEB Act), to construct 23 kilometres of pipeline within Clear Hills County, Alberta. The Project is proposed to transport sweet natural gas from a tie in connection adjacent to the Owl Lake South Meter Station to the existing Hidden Lake Compressor Station (Project). The Project will parallel existing disturbance, for the majority of the route. Once constructed, all new above-ground facilities will be located within a fenced area.
The Project will be located approximately 140 km northwest of Manning, Alberta within Treaty 8 territory.
The Project will be located on Provincial Crown land, and will require approximately 62 hectares of new permanent land and approximately 24 hectares of temporary work space for construction.
