Inuvialuit Energy Security Project Ltd. – Inuvialuit Energy Security Project – Technical Conference

The Canada Energy Regulator (CER) is holding a technical conference on May 24, 2023, to discuss the proposed changes to the Inuvialuit Energy Security Project (IESP) development plan. The purpose of this conference is for the Commission to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the proposed changes.

The Commission considers some of the changes significant, such as the shift from liquid natural gas to compressed natural gas and the increase in the production rate. The technical conference is intended to review this aspect of the IESP and address the timeline challenges resulting from the proposed changes.
