Information Request No. 2 – Extension Request
On 22 June 2017, the National Energy Board (Board) issued Information Request No. 2 (IR No. 2) to TNPI requesting additional information regarding the Conditions 5.a and 5.c Report Filing in compliance with the Amending Safety Order AO-002-SO-T217-03-2010.
The deadline set out in the IR No. 2 for TNPI to respond was 12 July 2017.
On 27 June 2017, TNPI filed a letter with the Board requesting an extension for its responses to the IR No. 2 from 12 July 2017 to 12 September 2017. TNPI requests an extension to allow sufficient time to collect and effectively analyze the data for immediate cause, basic cause and Management System and organizational factors.
The Board has reviewed TNPI’s request for extension of the deadline to the IR No. 2 responses and approves the timing extension request.
Therefore, the Board requires TNPI to file the responses to IR No. 2 no later than 12 September 2017.
